This article walks you through how to create and apply a custom diagnosis field in the Tickets page. You’ll learn how to add a new diagnosis option from your Settings, and then use it when creating or editing a ticket. This is a helpful way to tailor diagnoses to better match your workflow or operational needs.
- From the top right banner, click the person icon to open the menu, then click Settings.
- Then we will go to the Tickets tab to open those specific settings.
- Navigate to the Diagnosis Fields section and click on the Add Diagnosis button.
- Click in the blank text field and enter the name of the diagnosis, then click Save.
- From the left side navigation click on Tickets.
- Click the Add Ticket button to open the modal.
- Click on the Diagnosis Drop Down and scroll down to the newly created custom diagnosis.
- In this example we created a "NEW 111" custom diagnosis and it now it appears in the dropdown, as shown above.
Note: You can add your new custom diagnosis to an existing ticket by clicking on edit within the existing ticket on the Tickets page.
