How to change the status of a ticket

1. Starting from https://dashboard.foreman.mn/dashboard/

 

2. Navigate to the left hand navigation and click on "Tickets"

 

3. Find an existing ticket that needs the status updated and click on the actions button that corresponds to that ticket.

 

4. Click "Change Status" on the drop down

 

5. You can update the owner of a ticket in the owner drop down by selecting the appropriate owner in the drop down

 

6. Click "Status" to change the status of the ticket

 

7. Click on the "Diagnosis" drop down to change the Diagnosis of a ticket

 

8. Click on "Update Miner State" to change the miner state.

Please note the following for Miner States:

"In Repair" will disable a miner and the miner will show in the miner count on the miners page.

"Deployed" will make a miner active and the miner will show in the miner count on the miners page.

"Retired" will disable the miner. The miner will no longer show on the miner page and the miner will not show in the miner count. You will need to filter to the retired miner state on the miner page in order for the retired miner to display.

 

Please note you can perform a bulk edit action and update the status of multiple tickets at one time.
