Assets are links to items within a mining operation, facilitating their efficient management. These items, which typically depreciate over time—such as miners, computers, or infrastructure—are not confined to these categories alone.

The utility of assets becomes apparent when managing large items shipped to a facility, where tracking each item's changes or movements can become challenging. While smaller companies might find it easier to track fewer items, scalability introduces complexity in management.

This page introduces a solution, enabling the linkage of miners, infrastructure, and similar items to assets for enhanced management capabilities. This system supports routine audits, allowing auditors to track individual assets throughout their lifecycle, thereby providing a structured approach to asset management in mining operations.

Click 'Assets' on the Left Side Navigation Bar.

This page displays the columns by:

  • Asset ID - the serial number or miner custom field name that's associated with the asset. This can be linked from the 'Account Settings' in the 'Inventory' tab.
  • Name - a naming field that can assist you in identifying the asset at a glance.
  • Type - categorizes the type of asset. For example, an ASIC Miner or Infrastructure. Add a new type from the 'Account Settings' in the 'Inventory' tab.
  • Client - points you to which Client ID or facility the asset belongs to.
  • Location - points to the location within the Site Map.
  • Actions - Edit function for each asset.

- New custom field can be added from the 'Account Settings' in the 'Inventory' tab.

Partial: This will only update or create but will never delete the items not included in the .csv file.

- Click 'Sync Assets'.

This action will link all unlinked assets and sync data.

- Click 'Add Asset'.

This will allow you to add new Assets and choose location tied to it.

And then click 'Save'.

- Filters are a function that can assist you in finding items quickly by specific names or columns.

- Bulk Edit is another function that allows you to select a group or all inventory items to edit.

Click Edit and check the first box to select all.

Click 'Edit' again.

Select the action to edit for selected assets.

- Click 'Actions' in the Assets section for more Edit features.

- Click 'Edit' to change or update each asset.

- Click 'History' to see a record of changes or updates to each asset.

- Click 'Export' to generate a .csv file to send or just print it for documentation.
