There are two ways to add comments to a ticket directly from the Tickets page: by clicking Add Comment from the Ellipses menu or by opening the View modal and scrolling to the comment section. In both cases, comments are saved to the ticket’s history and can be reviewed at any time.
Ellipses Menu
- In the left side navigation, click Tickets.
- Find the ticket you want to leave a comment on, click the ellipses menu from the right hand side, opening the actions menu, click Add Comment.
- Within this modal, add your comment then click Save.
- Once your comment has been added, it now exists within the details view as well as the history.
View Details
- In the left side navigation, click Tickets.
- Find the ticket you want to leave a comment on, click the ellipses menu from the right hand side, opening the actions menu, click View.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the details modal to the Activity section and click Comments.
- Type your comment into the Add Comment field, then click Save to keep your comment.
- Once your comment has been added, it now exists within the details view as well as the history.
