How to set up Inventory Types and Inventory Fields

1. On the Foreman Dashboard https://dashboard.foreman.mn/dashboard/
Click the guy with the tie icon (upper right corner)

2. Click "Settings" within the dropdown

3. Click the "INVENTORY" tab on the settings page

4. Click "Inventory Types" to add in inventory types such as control boards, fans, cables, power supply etc.

5. Click "Inventory Fields" to add custom fields to the inventory fields that show in the inventory list on the inventory page. Some examples include last order date, the name of the supplier or even the contact info of the supplier.

6. You can also set up a low inventory notification within the inventory settings page.

7. Don't forget to save any changes you make within the inventory settings.
