Quick Guide: Site Map Lite (Beta)

For some miners that don't have managed switches, the overhead associated with manually maintaining their Site Map is more than the organization can support. For those miners, we are excited to announce the BETA release of our new Site Map Lite feature.

Site Map Lite is designed for mining operators who need quick, reliable oversight without unnecessary complexity. Miners in the same physical location (eg a container) are automatically grouped together based on IP ranges enabling miners to monitor and manage located in the same physical location (eg a container) without the overhead associated with the existing Site Map. Empower your team with real-time visibility into your miner groups' performance, health status, and operational metrics making it easier to identify problems before they impact your bottom line.

Access

Site Map Lite will replace your existing Site Map and give a clean and simple way to track your operations.

  • From the left-hand navigation menu, click Site Map to access.

Add Miner Group

To get started, let's identify and set up your Miner Groups. Each group must have unique, non-overlapping IP ranges. To create a new group, click the Add Miner Group button in the top-right corner.

Fill out the following information:

  • Name - required field
  • Description - optional field, can be used for sorting and filtering
  • Manufacturer - required field, choose one or multiple manufacturers.
Note: if Antminer is selected, a username and password field will appear - make sure to fill these in for the sync to work.
  • Expected Miners Count - required field, number of miners expected to be within the set IP range(s)
  • Unplugged Miners Count - optional field, used to manually adjust the count of miners that are not running/plugged in
    • Note: These are included in container totals, but not in performance totals.
  • Slot Capacity - optional field, number of physical spots
  • IP Ranges - required field, each miner group supports up to 2,048 IPs and must have a unique IP range with no overlap with existing groups
    • If overlap is detected, the group will not save, and a message will render sharing what overlap is happening and with which group.
    • If no overlap is detected, the range will persist.
    • To add additional range fields, click + Add and repeat the process; the same validation will apply to prevent overlap.

Accessing Individual Miner Groups

Regardless of how you choose to view your groups, you'll see readily available performance, key metrics, and indicators to take action. Once you're familiar with either the Card or Table view, you can dive deeper into the individual group by clicking into the card or from the table.

Miner Group Details Page

When you select an individual group, you'll see metrics specific to that group's IP ranges displayed in tiles at the top, followed by a table view of all miners included in the group. From this page, you can take additional actions and manage the entire group efficiently.

Note: The Miner Group Detail page does not yet include all features found on the Miner page — we're actively working on this! In the meantime, you can access the full Miner page via ellipses -> View Details for any features not yet available here.

Metrics and Actions

This dashboard provides real-time visibility into critical performance metrics for your designated IP group of miners. The metrics are designed to highlight actionable issues and help you quickly identify miners requiring attention.

Key Metrics:

  • Issues, Missing Miners, Hash Rate, Power Draw, Available Capacity, and Efficiency

Actions:

  • Sync - Initiates a scan of your IP range to retrieve current statistics from your miners and refresh the page with updated data once the sync completes.
  • Blink LEDs - Activates LED blinking on all miners within the group. A modal will prompt you to specify the blink duration in minutes.
  • Edit Group - Opens a modal where you can modify the settings for your miner group.

Miner Table

This page displays all miners included in the selected range. Similar to the standard table view, you can customize your view by selecting which columns are shown. The data can be filtered and sorted, and you can also toggle between miners that are currently online or offline.

  • Export - Initiates a download of miner data based on your currently applied filters. The export will include only the miners visible in the table at the time of export.

Action Menu

Located on the far right side of each table row, the ellipses icon (⋮) provides access to a dropdown menu with miner-specific actions. Click this icon to view and execute operations for the individual miner in that row, such as viewing details, adjusting settings, or performing maintenance tasks.

  • Details - Opens the miner's detailed information page in a new tab.
  • Settings - Opens the miner configuration page in a new tab.
  • Go to Miner - Opens the miner's IP address interface in a new tab.
  • Reboot - Initiates a restart of the miner.
  • Blink LEDs - Opens a modal to specify the LED blink duration.

Site Map Key Metric Tiles

At the top of your Site Map, you'll find four essential metrics cards:

  • Total Hashrate - Displays the combined computational power of all your active miners (measured in H/s).
  • Total Power - Shows the aggregate power consumption across all miner groups (measured in watts).
  • Missing Miners - Tracks miners that are offline or unresponsive, with a breakdown showing current missing versus total count.
    • The metric uses color-coding to indicate severity: green means all miners are online, and red signals that you have one or more miners offline or unresponsive.
  • Issues - Highlights any active problems or alerts requiring attention.
    • The metric uses color-coding to indicate severity: green means no issues, yellow indicates some issues (warnings), and red signals that issues need attention (failures).

View Toggle

Site Map Lite offers two display options: Table View and Card View.

  • Default View: Card View organizes your miners by Miner Group (replacing the previous rack, row, and column organization).
  • Switching Views: Click the toggle in the top-right corner and watch the page update instantly.
  • Persistence: Your preferred view will be saved automatically and persist across sessions.
  • Flexibility: Toggle between views anytime you need a different perspective.
  • Consistent Content: While the visual layout changes, all content and relationships remain the same—only the way you access actions and information differs.

Card View

In Card View, you can organize your miner groups using the Sort By dropdown menu. Choose from any of the following criteria, then select ascending or descending order:

  • Name, Description, Issues, Missing Miners, Hash Rate, Power Draw, Expected Count, Unplugged Miners, Available Capacity, Pickaxe, Manufacturers, and Efficiency

To return to the default view, click Clear Sort from the dropdown menu to reset to their original order.

  • Sync - Initiates a scan of your IP range to retrieve current statistics from your miners and refresh the page with updated data once the sync completes.

Table View

In Table View, you can organize your table by setting your columns. To set your columns, click Columns from the table header to open the dropdown menu where you toggle on/off the available columns. Within this same menu, you can Show/Hide All or even Reset back to defaults.

Available columns can then be sorted in ascending or descending order:

  • Cannot be removed: Name, Actions, and IP Ranges (cannot be sorted)
  • Can be removed: Description, Issues, Missing Miners, Hash Rate, Power Draw, Expected Count, Unplugged Miners, Available Capacity, Pickaxe, Manufacturers, and Efficiency

Filtering and Quick Filters

Regardless of your view choice, the same filtering and quick filters will be available. Filtering can be done by a single column/value or with multiple layers to easily filter down your results.

Quick filters include:

  • With Issues - shows any group with active issues
  • With Available Capacity - shows any group with available capacity

Navigation Tips and Best Practices

  • Breadcrumb Trail - Use Dashboard > Site Map at the top to navigate back to your main dashboard.
  • Refresh - The dashboard updates automatically, but you can manually refresh for the latest data.
  • Regularly check the Issues counter to stay ahead of problems.
  • Use Quick Filters to focus on groups needing attention.
  • Organize miner groups logically (by location, hardware type, or pool).
  • Monitor the Missing Miners metric for early detection of connectivity issues.
  • Keep an eye on Total Power to manage energy costs.
