Prompt to Reassign Location on Conflict

When assigning a location that is already occupied, Foreman should display a prompt instead of silently ignoring the change. The prompt could show which miner currently has the location and ask:

“Miner X already occupies this location. Would you like to remove its location and assign it to this miner instead?”

This would let users quickly resolve conflicts, reassign locations in a single step, and avoid confusion about why the action didn’t work. It would be especially helpful during reorganizations or when replacing hardware, as it streamlines location updates without needing to manually clear the old assignment first.

    Cody, how are you typically assigning miners to locations? Miners Detail, Interactive Add, Right Click on Sitemap square, CSV upload, API?

    Currently, we use Miner Details Page & Interactive fill.

    • Miner Details Page: Clicking “Save” appears to work, but after refreshing the page, the change reverts without any warning.
    • Interactive Fill: Attempting to assign a location to a miner that already has one simply does nothing, with no feedback.
