RFE: Miners Dashboard enahncements

Dears,

In the Miners dashboard with the big table listing all miners (Bitmain S21 machines not sure about others)

#1 The firmware version is displayed as "Thu Jan 8 15:44:15 CST 20266"

BUG: 2026 is displayed as 20266

RFE: Would be nice to be displayed in numeric form like 260108. This is easier to manipulate and sort and the column will not need much width / screen real estate.

 

#2 The Actions column is current fixed in location on the far right side of screen. 

RFE: When accessing the site on mobile view or even on this very machine, is a nuisance having to keep going back and forth left to right to left to right….etc.

Would be nice if we can shift that column just like any other column or just an option to have the Actions appears as the first column instead of last.

Having to turn off some columns to shift the Actions column into view is also a nuisance.

 

#3 AntMiner S21 XP Hydro

Currently this model is not supported for Firmware upgrade / update. Would be nice to have it supported.

    Hi Hadi,

    Thank you for your idea submission!

    1. Showing 20266 is actually a bug on the Bitmain firmware. We are passing through the data we see in the miner to the dashboard. I can bring that to the team and see what the level of effort is but this could cause some issues as not all miner types report firmware dates the same way. Our approach is usually just to pass through what the data says. 

    2. This is great feedback. Our mobile experience can be improved and feedback like this is definitely helpful. How often are you using Foreman on a mobile device? Do you use it on a tablet or a phone?

    3. We actually do support this type of miner. If you click the “Supported Miners” menu item inside Foreman, you can see we support a generic Antminer S21 XP Hydro and an Antminer S21 XP Hydro (437T).

    1. Here is an example from the S21 XP Hydro and S21 Pro:

    Miner compile time: Wed Dec 24 17:32:31 CST 2025 V: FR-1.96(251224-S21-Pro)

    Miner compile time: Thu Jan  8 15:44:15 CST 2026 ff: FR-1.70(260108-S21 XP Hyd.)

    What is reported on the Foreman dashboard is actually the Compile Time while the V: (version) is FR-1.96(251224-S21-Pro) and that is also displayed at bottom of the miners dashboard. Same for the Hydro with Field ff.

    Am not sure what happens on the API level but Foreman is definitely using the Compile Time to Mean version.

    Of course this is not critical, but it feeds into point #2 below.

    2. I use the mobile most of the time when am not on my desk. We are still in the process of setting up the farm and we are working around the different screens of Foreman.  It is a classic issue displaying tabular data on a devices with limited screen real-estate.

    3. As for the Antminer S21 XP Hydro, am afraid it is not Supported for Firmware upgrade. I believe I even submitted screen shots of this some time ago and was told this function is not supported. Ofcourse, I can setup the machine pools and get it up and mining just cant update firmwares.
