Set or update a miner's "Miner Name" programmatically through the API.
Use case: We manage our mining fleet across multiple systems (Odoo ERP and other internal data sources) and want Foreman to be the single source of truth for miner naming. Today there's no API endpoint to write the Miner Name, so keeping names consistent across all systems requires manual work and leads to mismatches. Requested: - A writable field/endpoint for "Miner Name" (set and update) in the API. - Ideally support for bulk operations, so the naming convention can be applied across many miners at once. Benefit: This would let customers automate their naming convention and keep it aligned across their whole tooling stack (ERP, monitoring, dashboards), removing manual updates and reducing human error.

+1 on this request. Being able to update the Miner Name through the API would be very useful for us as well.
Separately, I’d also love to see the ability to change a miner’s type through the API. We have workflows where miner information needs to stay synchronized across multiple systems, and being able to programmatically update the miner type would eliminate another manual step.
