This guide provides a comprehensive walkthrough of the updated Security UI, designed to help you take full control of your account’s security settings. Inside, you’ll find clear, step-by-step instructions for navigating the interface, managing and updating your passwords, and reviewing detailed insights on your password distribution. Whether you’re a first-time user or looking to optimize your security practices, this guide will ensure you can confidently monitor, maintain, and strengthen your account’s protection.
Navigation
From the left-hand menu, click on Security. By default, the updated interface will appear, designed to match the look and feel of other modernized pages for a consistent and streamlined user experience.
Tiles
At the top of the page, you’ll find two informative tiles that provide insights into your password security: Oldest Password and Password Distribution.
Oldest Password
This tile displays the age of your oldest stored password. Keeping track of this information can help you identify passwords that may need updating to maintain strong security practices and ensure all credentials remain current and relevant.Password Distribution
The Password Distribution tile presents an interactive graph showing the breakdown of your passwords across different miners. You can hover over or click on sections of the graph to explore the current distribution, helping you understand how your credentials are spread and identify areas that may require attention.
Security Table
The table on this page is designed with security in mind, so your current passwords are hidden by default. However, you can still view useful details such as the number of miners associated with each password and the date it was created. If you need to view the passwords, simply select the Reveal toggle to display them directly in the table.
Password – Hidden by default for security purposes, but can be revealed using the toggle.
Miners – Shows the number of miners linked to each specific password.
Since – Indicates the date when the password was initially set.
Ellipses Menu
To see which miners are associated with a specific password, click the ellipses menu on the right and select Show Miners. This action will take you to the Miners page, automatically filtered to display only the relevant entries.
Note: From the filtered Miners table, you can then take bulk actions on those miners such as resetting the password.
