Welcome To The Foreman Knowledge Base

Quick Guide: Miner Details (Beta)

The Miner details page in Foreman has received a modernized user interface. This update refreshes the page's look and feel without changing any existing functionality. All the same information and actions remain available, just presented in a cleaner, more contemporary design.

This update is currently in beta and is being rolled out progressively. Not all users will see the new interface immediately.

Access

Navigate to Miners, then select Details from the Actions menu or click the name of the miner directly.

Classic View

A Classic View toggle has been added to the top right corner of the details page for those still getting comfortable with the new UI. All data remains the same; the toggle only changes the UI experience.

Details

The page is divided into tiles, each covering a category of information.

Overview: The top tile displays the miner's status and details, and includes an Edit Miner button.

Graph: The graph shows the miner's history across Hash Rate, Highest Temp, Highest Fan, and Share Distribution. You can toggle between graph views, adjust the timeline, and download the table results — just as in the classic view.

Activity: Activity is shown in descending order. Use the pagination controls to navigate through additional updates, and it is no longer a scrolling component.

Issues: If there are active issues with the miner, they will display above the Activity feed.

Pickaxe Command History: This table includes a search bar and displays entries in descending order. Click the ellipsis on any row for further actions, and use the column headers to sort or paginate through results.

Fetched Logs: Fetched logs appear in this table. Use the Fetch Miner Logs button to refresh the data.

Tickets: Tickets related to this miner are displayed in a table. You can modify columns, filter, quick filter, export, and create new tickets directly from this section using the Add Ticket button.

Components: Components are displayed 10 at a time by default. Adjust the number of cards shown using the control at the bottom of the section. Components are color-labeled — all green indicates everything is at desired levels and no action is needed.

  • Note: To change the ranges on these components, click Edit Miner, then click Save to update these ranges. The component will update to reflect the status based on your inputs.

Pools: Pools are displayed 10 at a time by default. Adjust the number of cards shown using the control at the bottom of the section. Pool cards are read-only.
