How To: Setting Up A Trigger To Detect When Your Pickaxe Goes Offline

Setting up a trigger to detect when your Pickaxe agent goes offline can be a valuable feature for ensuring the uninterrupted operation of your mining equipment.  You can receive notifications or initiate actions as soon as the Pickaxe agent goes offline, allowing you to address issues promptly. Here's how to set up such a trigger in Foreman:

  1. Navigate to the "Alerts & Triggers" page. You can access the page via the left side navigation bar.navvvv.gif

  2. Click on the Add Trigger button in the upper right hand corner

  4. Test it to confirm that it detects the desired condition (in this case, when "pickaxe_status" changes to "Offline").

Remember to monitor the dashboard and any notifications or alerts set up by the trigger. Review the status of your Pickaxe agent on Foreman regularly to ensure that the trigger functions as expected.
