Modernized Firmware Settings page

The Firmware section of Settings is the latest page to move onto Foreman’s new platform as part of our ongoing work to modernize the app. From Settings > Firmware, you can still edit every firmware row in place, add new rows, remove old ones, and commit all of your changes with a single Save.

If you run into an issue on the new page, use the toggle on the page to report it. If you have ideas for improving the page, please submit them to our Ideas Board.

Support for Doyontek PDUs

Doyontek PDUs have been added to the list of power distribution units Foreman recognizes. Sites running Doyontek units can now add them as infrastructure devices and see them alongside the rest of their power equipment.

Cycle Counts to be deprecated on the new Assets page

• The Assets page is moving to Foreman’s new platform, and we will begin turning on the new version for some clients starting next week. The new Assets page will not include the Cycle Counts feature, so Cycle Counts will no longer be available once your account is switched over.
• We plan to improve Cycle Counts and bring it back in the future. If you use Cycle Counts today and would like to talk with us about how it could work better for your team, please reach out.

Removed the outdated “Upload config to Pickaxe” prompt from miner cards

• Miner cards on the classic dashboard no longer show the red “Upload config to Pickaxe” pill on Pickaxe-linked miners that have no miner type. That prompt no longer reflected a step operators needed to take, and it added visual noise to the miners view. Card layout and alignment are unchanged, and miners with a miner type continue to show their Pickaxe label as before.

Braiins Pool Name Updated

• Foreman now shows Braiins Pool, the pool’s current name, wherever it previously showed Slush Pool. This is a label update within Foreman only. Your pool settings, credentials and mining connections are unchanged, and you do not need to take any action.
