Foreman makes it easy to upload assets in bulk using either a text input or CSV file. Whether you're adding new items or updating existing ones, the Upload Assets tool streamlines the process for efficient asset management.
This guide covers both upload options, explains the difference between full and partial uploads, and walks you through each step—from choosing your file to completing the upload.
- Click Assets
- Click Upload Assets
- Here you can choose if you want to do a text or csv upload before proceeding
- Text Upload allows you to add assets by filling out the modal
- CSV Upload allows you to add in a file of the assets by valid types. Click on Download to generate a current .csv file with columns
- There are two types of uploads:
- Full: This will update, create, and delete items based on the uploaded .csv file.
- Partial: This will only update or create but will never delete the items not included in the .csv file.
- Click Choose File
- Find the .csv file you created and click Open
- And then click Upload
- Text Upload allows you to add assets by filling out the modal
