Quick Guide: Commitments

What is a Commitment?

A Commitment refers to a user-defined agreement to manage power usage within specific parameters as dictated by a program or contract. You can set full or partial power commitments and adjust power usage by reducing or adjusting amounts. Multiple commitments can be created for the same program, but their start and end dates must not overlap. These commitments help ensure compliance with the terms of awarded contracts or bids.

How do I use them in Foreman?

You can create “Power Commitments” for any program enabled for the client/sub-client. Within your Power section, you can navigate over to the Commitment tab to create a new commitment.
