Quick Guide: Commitments

This guide has been updated to reflect the new Power UI, to see this information using the 'Classic View', check the article here.

What is a Commitment?

A Commitment refers to a user-defined agreement to manage power usage within specific parameters as dictated by a program or contract. You can set power commitments and adjust power usage by reducing or adjusting amounts. Multiple commitments can be created for the same program, but their start and end dates must not overlap. These commitments help ensure compliance with the terms of awarded contracts or bids.

Note: Commitments are only supported for a subset of our power partners and power programs. If you don't have access to Commitments but think it would help your team accomplish their goals, please contact your customer success rep to discuss.
