Separate Curtailment Retry Values
We've heard that users often prefer continuous retries during a dispatch to ensure miners stay down, but want to limit retries after a dispatch ends so they can resume manual control without disabling curtailment opt-in. To support this, we’ve introduced separate configurable retry durations for curtailment and post-curtailment periods. As part of the rollout, existing configurations will automatically map to the new settings—if a single value was previously set, it will be applied to both “During” and “After.”

  • During Curtailment – Defines how long (in minutes) the system will continue attempting to sleep miners during a curtailment event. Leaving this field empty (null) will cause miners to be continually slept for the entire duration of the event.

    • Recommended to set to null so that the retry occurs throughout the entire event.

  • After Curtailment – Defines how long (in minutes) the system will continue attempting to wake miners once the event ends. Leaving this field empty (null) will cause miners to be continually woken when not in a curtailment event.

    • Recommended to set in a range of 10-20 minutes after curtailment, or that your retry duration is longer than your ramp settings.
