Quick Guide: Execution Sequence

What is an Execution Sequence?

The Execution Sequence is a Selection Method that determines the order of automatic curtailment. Additionally, when a Dispatch is created in the UI, this same Execution Sequence will also be applied. It enables you to set a specific order, providing greater control and precision in operations.

How to Set Up an Execution Sequence:

  1. Navigate to User Menu > Settings > Power Control
  2. Change your Selection Method to Execution Sequence and "Save"
  3. Reload the page and scroll down to access the Execution Sequence section

  4. Begin by selecting a Machine Group Type, then click "Add Step." This will enable you to add layers to your sequence according to the chosen type. For example, selecting Pickaxe allows you to add steps and layers specific to the Pickaxe type in your sequence.
    * Choose one of the following: Pickaxe, Client, Hardware Type, Pool Name, Active Pool, Miner Name, Miner IP, Miner IP Range, Miner Type, Miner Group, Miner Group Name, Miner Tags, or Power Mode
    *
Note that changing the existing Machine Group Type will clear the existing sequence
  5. Continue to "Add Step" to add further steps to your sequence.
    * As steps are created, you may click the trashcan icon to remove a previously selected step.

  6. Add machines to each step according to your preference, starting with less efficient machines.
  7. In the next step, you can toggle on "Exclude Miners" to select those of which you want to be excluded from the sequence completely. Screenshot 2025-02-24 at 12.09.08 PM.png
  8. Final step is to scroll down and click "Save" to keep your sequence set.Screenshot 2025-02-24 at 12.11.24 PM.png

By customizing your execution sequence, you can ensure that your mining operations run smoothly while meeting your load commitments.
