How To: Change The Miner State In A Ticket

This article walks you through how to update the Miner State for a ticket from the Tickets page. Whether a miner needs to be marked as deployed, in repair, or retired, you can make quick updates using the edit modal.

Updating the miner state directly from the ticket helps align with real-world technician workflows. For example, when a technician begins working on a ticket, one of the first steps is often to pull the miner for inspection or repair. Later, once the work is complete, the technician may need to redeploy the miner. Including this functionality directly in the ticket UI allows users to easily reflect those changes in the system as part of their existing process.

Note: The modal does not currently display the miner’s existing state—it only allows you to update it. You may need to reference the device’s full profile or related records if you need to confirm the current state before making changes.

  1. From the left side navigation, click on Tickets.
