Welcome To The Foreman Knowledge Base

Quick Guide: Settings (Beta)

What's Changed

Previously, saving changes on the Settings page would update all tabs at once. This could cause a brief delay and return you to the first tab after saving.

We’ve improved this experience by streamlining the process of saving settings. The Settings page now features dedicated tiles for each section, allowing you to save changes section by section. This results in faster saves, smoother navigation, and an overall better experience.

Navigation

The location of the Settings page hasn’t changed—you can still access it from your user menu in the top-right corner by selecting Settings.

If you’re on the new experience, you’ll see the updated section tiles right away. If you prefer to continue using the legacy layout, you can switch on Classic View to use the Settings page as you did before.

Note: The Settings sections displayed will vary based on your organization’s product offerings and your individual user permissions.
