Quick Guide: Ticket Details Page

Welcome to the new Ticket Details Page! This guide will walk you through the interface, highlighting how to make the most of the improved experience. From navigating ticket information to managing updates and performing key actions, you'll find everything you need to stay efficient, organized, and in control of your workflow. 

Note: There are some permissions that may limit your ability to complete actions shown in this article. The permissions include: 

  • Edit Ticket which limits the ability to edit a ticket.
  • Close Ticket which limits the ability to close a ticket.

 

Navigation

There are two ways to access the details page. First, click Tickets from the left-hand menu. On the Ticket Table, either click the Ticket ID of the ticket you want to view or open the Actions menu and select View.

Details Page

The Ticket Details page offers an improved view of the ticket, enabling users to see all the relevant information about the ticket in a single view and easily add comments and edit ticket fields where permissions allow.

  • Header
    • The title of the ticket along with the Ticket's ID will display in the header of the page, the title of the ticket may change, the ticket ID itself cannot change. 
  • Share - Click the icon to copy the URL to your clipboard. You can then share the link with others in your organization, making it easy for them to access the page and work on the ticket.

  • Actions - Click the ellipses icon to open the Actions modal, actions include:

    • Print - automatically opens a new tab with a PDF version of your ticket for you to save or print.
    • History - opens the History modal showing all activity on the ticket.

    • Delete - opens the Delete modal, where you can confirm or cancel out of deleting the ticket.
  • Close - click the X in the upper right-hand corner to close the details page and navigate back to the ticket table.
  • Work Order
    • This section displays the ticket's description. Click into this field to make any necessary edits, ensuring others see the most up-to-date version.

 

 

Comments

Comments are now more user-friendly, displaying the content, author, date, and time clearly. Use the Comments section to leave feedback, updates, or notes for others who have access to the ticket. 

  • New comments are shown in ascending order, with the most recent appearing at the top for easy visibility.

 

Device Details Table

The device details table displays all connected devices associated with the ticket. From this table, you can view details, take actions, and add new devices. Up to three device types can be linked—Miner, Asset, or Infrastructure. Once devices are added and saved, icons for each type appear to the right of the header. These icons act as shortcuts, allowing you to quickly filter the table by device type or navigate directly to that specific device.

  • Navigation – Navigate to the linked Asset, Miner, and or Infrastructure from the header of the table.
    • Note: This will open a new tab filtered down to your specific devices.

  • Add Devices – You can expand miners to view details and perform actions such as removing, changing state, or viewing the miner.

  • Miners – You can expand miners to view details and perform actions such as removing, changing state, or viewing the miner.

  • Assets and Infrastructure - These device types can be added to or removed from the table.

 

Bulk and Single Edit Miner State

There are three ways to update the Miner State from the Ticket Details page:

  1. In-line Editing
    Expand the details section of the table to view the Miner State field. Hover, click into the field, choose the updated state, and then finalize your changes within the modal, then click Save.

  2. Ellipses Menu
    From the expanded view, open the ellipses menu on the right and select Change State. This will open a modal where you can update the state and click Change State to confirm.

  3. Miner Icon in Header
    Click the Miner icon in the table header to navigate to the filtered miners page for this ticket. From there, you can make bulk updates to the state of selected miners.

 

 

Details Table

The details table displays all default and custom ticket fields and now supports inline editing for a smoother experience. To make changes, simply hover over a field to reveal the editing option, then click to update the information. Depending on the field type, your changes will either save automatically when you click outside the field or require you to click Save to confirm.

 

  • This table includes both system default fields and any additional custom ticket fields configured for your client:
    • Ticket ID - this field cannot be edited, however, you may hover to copy the ID to your clipboard.
    • Client - read-only field, set upon creation of the ticket.
    • Status - single select field, may select from the following: Pending, In Progress, Ready to Review, On Hold, RMA, or Closed.
    • Priority - single select field, may select from the following: Lowest, Low, Normal, High, or Highest.
    • Owner - optional field, may select one or many users to be identified as the owner.
    • Inventory – set during ticket creation, this field can be clicked to add, edit, or remove linked inventory items.
      • After adding inventory, you can specify the quantity for each item before clicking Save to apply your changes.
    • Diagnoses – optional field allows you to select one or multiple diagnoses to associate with the ticket.

    • Custom Ticket Fields – any additional custom fields configured for your client will appear at the bottom of the table.
